Privacy settings

Basic

This privacy policy is intended to inform the users of this website about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator Patrick Becker (einwandeins.de).

The website operator takes your data protection very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory provisions. As new technologies and the constant further development of this website may result in changes to this data protection declaration, we recommend that you read through the data protection declaration again at regular intervals.

Definitions of the terms used (e.g. “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Art. 4 GDPR.

Access data

I Patrick Becker (einwandeins.de) collect data about accesses to the website on the basis of my legitimate interest (see Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO) and store these as “server log files” on the website server. The following data is logged in this way:

  • Visited website
  • Time at the time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/reference from which you reached the page
  • Browser used
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 6 months and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, e.g. to be able to clarify cases of misuse. If data must be retained for evidentiary reasons, it is exempt from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.

Reach measurement & cookies

This website uses cookies for pseudonymised reach measurement, which are sent either from our server or the server of a third party to the user’s browser.

Cookies are small files that are stored on your terminal device. Your browser accesses these files. The use of cookies increases the user-friendliness and security of this website.

If you do not want cookies to be stored on your end device for the purpose of measuring reach, you can object to the use of these files here:

Common browsers offer the setting option to not allow cookies. Note: It is not guaranteed that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if you make the corresponding settings.

Collection and processing of personal data

The website operator only collects, uses and discloses your personal data if this is permitted by law or you have consented to the collection of data.

Personal data is any information that can be used to identify you personally and that can be traced back to you – for example, your name and email address.

You can also visit this website without providing any personal information. However, in order to improve my online offer, further access data from you (without personal reference) may be stored on this website. This access data includes, for example, the file you requested or the name of your internet provider. By anonymising the data, it is not possible to draw conclusions about your person.

  • I process personal data such as first name, surname, IP address, e-mail address, place of residence, postcode and content details from the contact form.
  • I only process personal data with the express permission of the users concerned and in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations.
  • The processing of personal data is based on my legitimate interest insofar as it concerns the fulfilment of agreed services or the optimisation of my online offer.

Handling contact details

If you contact me as the website operator via the contact options offered, your details will be stored so that they can be used to process and respond to your enquiry. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

Dealing with comments and contributions

If you leave a post or comment on this website, your IP address will be stored. This is done on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO and serves the security of us as website operator: If your comment violates applicable law, we can be prosecuted, which is why we have an interest in the identity of the comment or post author.

When visitors post comments on the website, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and user agent string (this identifies the browser) to help detect spam.

An anonymised string can be created from your email address (also called a hash) and passed to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it.

The privacy policy of the Gravatar service can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/

After your comment has been approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.

Media

Where we send your data

Visitor comments are examined by the automated service of Anti Spam Bee for the purpose of spam detection. The data processing of this application is described in more detail under point 11.

How long I store your data in relation to comments

When you post a comment, it is saved indefinitely, including metadata. This way I can automatically detect and approve follow-up comments instead of keeping them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on my website, I additionally store the personal information you provide in your user profiles. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (the username cannot be changed). Administrators of the website can also view and change this information.

DSGVO), this website uses the Facebook Social Plugin, which is operated by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). The use of plugins

Antispam Bee

The Antispam Bee plug-in is an open source software developed in Germany and Switzerland. The plug-in is used to prevent spam in the comments under posts. The plug-in can filter out which comment was set by a real human or a spam bot and automatically block spam comments.

To determine the geographical location, Antispam Bee sends the anonymised, i.e. shortened IP address of the commenter via a secure connection to the online service IP2Country. Other data of the commentator or the WordPress system used are not part of the transmission.

For more information on the Antispam Bee plug-in, click here

https://github.com/pluginkollektiv/antispam-beehttps://wordpress.org/plugins/antispam-bee/

Contact Form 7

Contact Form 7 manages the contact form and newsletter creation.

The plugin does not do the following in the existing default configuration:

  • Secretly track users;
  • write all personal user data into the database;
  • send all/any data to external servers;
  • Use cookies.

The plugin Contact Form 7 is a service for creating contact forms. The Contact Form plug-in only serves to forward entered form data to the einwandeins.de email address. Additional storage, e.g. in the WordPress database, does not take place. Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Contact Form can be found here:

Real Cookie Banner asks website visitors for consent to set cookies and process personal data. For this purpose, each website visitor is assigned a UUID (pseudonymous identification of the user), which is valid until the cookie expires to store the consent. Cookies are used to test whether cookies can be set, to store reference to documented consent, to store which services from which service groups the visitor has consented to, and, if consent is obtained under the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF), to store consent in TCF partners, purposes, special purposes, functions and special functions.

As part of the duty of disclosure under the GDPR, the consent collected is fully documented. This includes, in addition to the services and service groups to which the visitor has consented, and if consent is obtained according to the TCF standard, to which TCF partners, purposes and functions the visitor has consented, all settings of the cookie banner at the time of consent as well as the technical circumstances (e.g. size of the viewing area at the time of consent) and the user interactions (e.g. clicking on buttons) that led to consent. Consent is collected once per language.
